Metro

is the easiest way to reach The Golden Age of Athens from El. Venizelos Athens International Airport (€ 10.00 ticket per person, Google Map) or from the Port of Piraeus (€ 1,40 ticket per person, Google Map). The Megaro Mousikis station is only two minutes walk from the Hotel.

Car

follow the Attiki Odos Highway towards Elefsina, take the exit No. 14-15(Marathonos-Mesoghion) which turns to Michalakopoulou street. After a 2km drive you will find the Golden Age of Athens on your right Google Map

Express Bus X95

from the airport arrivals hall to Illisia bus stop which is just a 2 minute walk from the Golden Age of Athens. (€ 6.00 ticket per peson, Google Map)

Sightseeing & Points of Interest

Hotel is located on Michalakopoulou Avenue, in one of the safest areas of Athens, near Athens Music Hall (Megaro Musikis). Acropolis and the famous New Acropolis Museum is a ten minute Metro ride from Megaro Mousikis station.(Blue line to Syntagma station then change to the red line, next stop is the Acropolis station). Athens central shopping area and the main square of Athens (Syntagma Square) are a 25 minute walk away.

You can also use the public bus from Illisia bus stop, Bus no. 8, or the Metro from Megaro Musikis station to Syntagma station.(Both bus stop and Metro are a 2 mins walk from the Golden Age of Athens.

Enjoy a nice stroll along one of the most well kept avenues of Athens, Vasilissis Sophias, where you will find some of the most classical buildings, monuments and museums of Athens.

Επιβιβαστείτε στο λεωφορείο X95 (€ 8,00 ανά εισιτήριο, Google Map) από την αίθουσα αφίξεων του Διεθνή Αεροδρομίου Αθηνών Ελ. Βενιζέλος και αποβιβαστείτε στη στάση Ιλισία, η οποία απέχει μόλις 2 λεπτά από το ξενοδοχείο The Golden Age of Athens.

Αξιοθέατα & Σημεία Ενδιαφέροντος

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται στην λεωφόρο Μιχαλακοπούλου σε μία από τις πιο ασφαλείς περιοχές της Αθήνας, κοντά στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής.

Η Ακρόπολη και το περίφημο Νέο Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης είναι δέκα λεπτά με το μετρό από το σταθμό Μέγαρο Μουσικής. (Μπλε γραμμή στο σταθμό του Συντάγματος, στη συνέχεια, αλλάξτε την κόκκινη γραμμή, επόμενος σταθμός είναι ο σταθμός Ακρόπολη). Η εμπορική περιοχή και η κεντρική πλατεία της Αθήνας (πλατεία Συντάγματος) απέχουν 25 λεπτά με τα πόδια.

Μπορείτε επίσης να χρησιμοποιήσετε το λεωφορείο από τη στάση Ιλισίων , νούμερο. 8, ή το μετρό από το σταθμό Μέγαρο Μουσικής. (Τόσο η στάση του λεωφορείου όσο και του μετρό είναι 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το ξενοδοχείο).

Τέλος μπορείτε να απολαύσετε μια ωραία βόλτα κατά μήκος μίας από τις πιο καλοδιατηρημένες λεωφόρους της Αθήνας, τη Βασιλίσσης Σοφίας, όπου θα βρεθείτε μπροστά σε μερικά από τα πιο κλασσικά κτίρια, μνημεία και μουσεία της Αθήνας.
